February 19, 2008 ~ Thunder Bay ~ Don Campbell, Acting President and CEO of TBayTel, is pleased to announce thesale of the TBayTel Telephone Directory to Yellow Pages Group (YPG) effective February 19, 2008.

The sale came about as a result of a fair offer from YPG, coupled with an examination by TBayTel of its core business. The result was a decision to divest this non-core activity to the partner who, since 1982 has been responsible for the production and sale of the book. TBayTel will maintain control of the Community
Pages and the distribution activities.

“It was important to TBayTel that the sale have no impact to the quality and feel of the directory”, said Don Campbell, Acting President and CEO of TBayTel, “The work required by TBayTel employees to develop the front pages, provide
customer service and billing will continue, seamless to customers.” “This transaction has been in process for a number of months and has been approved by our shareholder, The City of Thunder Bay,” added Don Campbell.

“The transaction will have no impact on employment and will enable TBayTel to concentrate on our core competency; providing state of the art communications services to Northern Ontario.”
