DULUTH MN ~ March 10, 2008 ~The Duluth Hall of Fame is soliciting nominations for its annual award, which will be presented Friday, May 9 at the Greysolon Plaza ballroom.
The Hall of Fame award is given each year for lifetime volunteer service to Duluth, and is presented by the David Wisted Post of the American Legion and the City of Duluth. The Wisted Post created the Hall of Fame in 1924 as a community service project.
Longtime Duluth volunteer Jerome Blazevic was the winner of the 2006 award.
The Hall of Fame award cannot be presented posthumously – all nominees must be living Duluthians. For a nomination form, contact City of Duluth Communications Manager Jeff Papas at 730-5211.
