THUNDER BAY, ON - June 25, 2008 - The North of Superior Tourism Association (NOSTA) is presenting its draft 3-year regional marketing strategy on Thursday, June 26, 2008 in Terrace Bay and Community Tourism Co-coordinators and Economic Development Officers from across the region have been invited to attend. The meeting will be held at the Superior North CFDC in Terrace Bay from 12pm to 4pm.
NOSTA Executive Director Bruce Fallen will be outlining the tourism association’s new plan’s strategic direction and seeking ideas on tactical solutions and initiatives from those in attendance and on conference call. As the information is gathered, NOSTA staff will be developing a priority list of regional marketing initiatives and developing a budget for implementation over the next 3 years.
It is anticipated that some of the priorities will include updating the current North of Superior regional website, more E-Marketing to potential visitors and possibly producing a new 4-Seasons “full-colour” North of Superior Visitor’s Experience Magazine.
